Diamond Beach Resort is located on the Coast Road at beautiful Cabarita Beach between Byron Bay (40 mins drive) and the Gold Coast (20 mins drive).

Beaches abound in the area and Cabarita, The Cove and South Beach (which joins onto Hastings Point) all offers something unique.

As well as this, you can walk up to the awe inspiring Norries Headland, for sheer rock sea views and some peace and quiet, all in 5 to 7 minutes.

However if you prefer, there are patrolled, safe, family beaches or secluded rocky out-crops to bathe in privacy, or to discover our many varieties of Australia eagles.

Regular flights land at Collangatta Airport (20 min drive) and Ballina Airport (35 min drive)

RAIL
Train station at Murwillumbah (25 min drive) transfers or hire vehicles can be arranged

Many coach services pass through Cabarita

Cabarita Beach if internationally known for its excellent surfing, wind surfing, fishing, beach carnivals and the like. You may be more at ease walking or jogging the clean, unpolluted beaches or try your hand at beach, estuary or rock fishing….it's all up to you!!

We are close to shops, hotels, restaurants and the Cabarita Bowls Club.

There are local markets on every Sunday as well as seasonal carnivals. Close by you will find local Art Galleries and Curio Shops and the outlying hinterland offers some 'magic' day trips where you will discover incredible little villages, such as Uki and Stokers Siding, offering pottery and crafts.

Incredibly there are 8 National Parks within an hours drive of Diamond Beach Resort! These mainly surround, and of course include the magnificent Mount Warning, the first place the sun kisses Australia each morning.
